The 5th Annual AFCEA CMD Valentine’s Gala

On Saturday night, February 20, 2010, the AFCEA Central Maryland Chapter will host its 5th Annual Valentine’s Gala. Our 2010 Gala will again be at the elegant BWI Airport Marriott in Linthicum, Maryland.

The Valentine’s Gala has become the premiere social event in the Fort Meade area. The Gala brings together approximately 600 industry, military, and Intelligence Community and Government professionals, including their spouses, in an elegant, fun social environment.

The Gala is an opportunity for Industry partners to reinforce their commitment to the community. This year, as in the past, all proceeds from the Valentine’s Gala will go towards providing educational scholarships and grants through the AFCEA CMC Educational Fund. Scholarships are available to students studying the hard sciences including mathematics, information technology, computer science, and others.

Despite ever-increasing costs, we have been able to hold 2010 pricing unchanged from 2009. Tables are still $2,000 for a corporate table. Each table consists of seating for five couples; four couples from the sponsoring company that you will name, and one couple who will be Government guests placed by AFCEA. Businesses are offered the opportunity to purchase ½ tables, comprised of seats for two company couples and a guest couple, for $1000.
