NSA/AFCEA Mission and Acquisition Symposium

16 November 2009, 0700 - 1900
17 November 2009, 0730 - 1300
Friedman Auditorium R&E Symposium Center

The NSA Senior Acquisition Executive, in conjunction with the Armed Forces Communication Electronics Association (AFCEA) Central Maryland Chapter, is proud to announce the Fall 2009 NSA/AFCEA Mission and Acquisition Symposium (NAMAS).

This new conference will combine the AFCEA Mid-Atlantic Intelligence Symposium and the NSA Acquisition/Industrial Symposium (NA/IS) into a 1 1/2 day event that will be held twice a year. Our hope is that this new forum will provide more relevant and up-to-date information that will enable industry to better address the Agency's mission. The NSA Acquisition Organization and industry leaders recognize and understand the importance of the Government/Industry partnership required to achieve NSA mission goals and objectives. NAMAS provides an interactive forum to engage in dialogue and to develop and strengthen partnerships. This symposium will feature NSA's mission and acquisition professionals who will provide industry with current, relevant acquisition information to enable business forecasts to support industrial strategic business planning.

The Fall event will be held on November 16 and 17, 2009 at NSA's Friedman Auditorium and the R&E Symposium Center, located at Ft. Meade, MD. The Symposium will be at the TS/SI (NOFORN) level to enable in-depth, candid discussions with key leadership from Government, Industry, and Military. NAMAS is open to all companies who are registered in NSA's Acquisition Resource Center Vendor Database with TS/SI cleared individuals. Registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis and open only to U.S. citizens who possess the appropriate level of clearance (TS/SI). Seating for this popular event is restricted to 610 industry participants, therefore the number of attendees per company must be limited. Please visit the registration website at https://www.fbcinc.com/nsaafcea/ for additional information.

Attendance at the conference will require attendees to gain access to the NSAW campus. Therefore, individuals whose clearances are held outside NSA must have their clearances passed to NSA via CRITICOM message by the sponsoring government agency. Specific instructions are included on the registration website at https://www.fbcinc.com/nsaafcea/

Specific questions regarding NAMAS can be sent to the Industry Outreach & Facilitation Office at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Registration must be completed via the FBC website.
